Land Transport (Certificates of Compliance for Evidential Breath-Testing Device (Seres)) Amendment Notice 2009: revoked, on 16 February 2015, pursuant to clause 4 of the Land Transport (Certificates of Compliance for Evidential Breath-Testing Device (Seres)) Revocation Notice 2015 (LI 2015/18).

This notice is administered by the New Zealand Police.
Pursuant to sections 2(2) and 75A(5) of the Land Transport Act 1998, the Minister of Police, after consultation with the Minister of Transport and the Minister of Justice, gives the following notice.

1 Title
This notice is the Land Transport (Certificates of Compliance for Evidential Breath-Testing Device (Seres)) Amendment Notice 2009.
2 Principal notice amended
3 Commencement
This notice comes into force on 3 February 2010.
4 Interpretation
Clause 3 is revoked and the following clause substituted:
“3 Interpretation
In this notice, Seres has the same meaning as in clause 3 of the Land Transport (Breath Tests) Notice 2009.”

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the notice, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This notice, which comes into force on 3 February 2010, makes a minor amendment to the Land Transport (Certificates of Compliance for Evidential Breath-Testing Device (Seres)) Notice 2001. The amendment updates the definition of Seres to correspond to the definition now appearing in the Land Transport (Breath Tests) Notice 2009.
