Order

1 Title

This order is the Alcoholism and Drug Addiction Institution (The Bridge, Auckland) Order 2010.

2 Commencement

This order comes into force on the 28th day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.

3 Institution certified

The institution known as The Bridge, Auckland, comprising the property described in the Schedule, is certified as an institution under the Alcoholism and Drug Addiction Act 1966.

4 Consequential revocation

Clause 2(1) and Schedule 1 of the Alcoholism and Drug Addiction Institutions Order (No 2) 1982 (SR 1982/242) are revoked.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order, which comes into force on the 28th day after the date of its notification in the Gazette, certifies the institution known as The Bridge, Auckland, as an institution under the Alcoholism and Drug Addiction Act 1966.

The Bridge is currently certified under that Act as comprising Rotoroa Island in the Firth of Thames and the Auckland property at 15 Ewington Avenue. The order recertifies The Bridge in respect only of the Auckland property at 15 Ewington Avenue.
