This order is administered by the Ministry of Education.
Pursuant to section 164(1) and (4) of the Education Act 1989, His Excellency the Governor-General, on the recommendation of the Minister of the Crown responsible for the administration of Part 13 of that Act, and acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.
Order
1 Title
This order is the Education (Disestablishment of Tairāwhiti Polytechnic and Incorporation in Eastern Institute of Technology) Order 2010.
2 Commencement
This order comes into force on 1 January 2011.
3 Tairāwhiti Polytechnic disestablished, and incorporated in Eastern Institute of Technology
The institution that, immediately before the commencement of this order, was called Tairāwhiti Polytechnic is disestablished, and incorporated in Eastern Institute of Technology.

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order, which comes into force on 1 January 2011, disestablishes Tairāwhiti Polytechnic, and incorporates it in Eastern Institute of Technology.
