Pursuant to section 31(1)(a)(i) of the New Zealand Horticulture Export Authority Act 1987, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council and on the recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture made in accordance with section 32(2) of that Act, makes the following order.
Order
1 Title
This order is the New Zealand Horticulture Export Authority (Nashi/Asian Pear) Amendment Order 2010.
2 Commencement
This order comes into force on the 28th day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
3 Principal order amended
This order amends the New Zealand Horticulture Export Authority (Nashi/Asian Pear) Order 1994.
4 Clause 4 revoked
Clause 4 is revoked.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order (which comes into force on the 28th day after the date of its notification in the Gazette) amends the New Zealand Horticulture Export Authority (Nashi/Asian Pear) Order 1994 by removing the stipulation that nashi are subject to export licensing in accordance with Part 3 of the New Zealand Export Authority Act 1987.
