1 Title

These regulations are the Civil Aviation Charges Regulations (No 2) 1991 Amendment Regulations 2010.

2 Commencement

These regulations come into force on 1 April 2010.

3 Principal regulations amended

These regulations amend the Civil Aviation Charges Regulations (No 2) 1991.

4 International passenger security charges

Regulation 20(1) is amended by omitting “$15.00” and substituting “$10.00”.

5 Domestic passenger security charges

Regulation 20A(1) is amended by omitting “$4.66” and substituting “$4.35”.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.

These regulations, which come into force on 1 April 2010, amend the Civil Aviation Charges Regulations (No 2) 1991. The amendments reduce the international passenger security charge from $15.00 to $10.00 and reduce the domestic passenger security charge from $4.66 to $4.35.
