1 Title

This order is the Ombudsmen Act (Schedule 1—Ministry of Fisheries) Order 2011.

2 Commencement

This order comes into force on 1 July 2011.

3 Part 1 of Schedule 1 of Ombudsmen Act 1975 amended

Part 1 of Schedule 1 of the Ombudsmen Act 1975 is amended by omitting the item relating to the Ministry of Fisheries.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order, which comes into force on 1 July 2011, amends Schedule 1 of the Ombudsmen Act 1975 by omitting the item relating to the Ministry of Fisheries.

The item relating to the Ministry of Fisheries is omitted to reflect the abolition of that department, and the transfer of its functions to the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, on 1 July 2011.
