Pursuant to section 2(1) of the Climate Change Response Amendment Act 2011, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.

2 Commencement
The Climate Change Response Amendment Act 2011 comes into force on 5 December 2011.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order brings the Climate Change Response Amendment Act 2011 into force on 5 December 2011. The Act amends the Climate Change Response Act 2002 and regulations made under it to provide for the role of the Environmental Protection Authority.
Date of notification in Gazette: 22 September 2011.
This order is administered by the Ministry for the Environment.
