Statistics Amending Regulations 1956

Statistics Amending Regulations 1956: revoked, on 12 May 2011, by clause 3 of the Regulatory Reform (Revocations) Order 2011 (SR 2011/99).

These regulations are administered in the Department of Statistics.
PURSUANT to the Statistics Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following regulations.

These regulations may be cited as the Statistics Amending Regulations 1956, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the regulations made under the Census and Statistics Act 1910 on the 7th day of June 19191.

The regulations made under the Census and Statistics Act 1910 on the 25th day of May 1926 and published in the Gazette on the 4th day of June 1926 at page 1494 are hereby amended as follows:
(a) By omitting from regulation 3 the words
“electric supply establishment”
:
(b) By revoking form Census M & W15 in the Second Schedule.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.
The effect of these regulations is that the Government Statistician will not in future collect statistics of electrical supply from the owners of electric supply establishments Those statistics will in future be collected by the State Hydro-Electric Department under regulation 23 to 12 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, as set out in regulation 3 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, Amendment No 10 (SR 1956/141).
