Revocation of Customs Import Prohibition Order

Revocation of Customs Import Prohibition Order: revoked, on 12 May 2011, by clause 3 of the Regulatory Reform (Revocations) Order 2011 (SR 2011/99).

This order is administered by the Customs Department.
PURSUANT to section 48 of the Customs Act 1966, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, by this order, which shall come into force on the 28th day after the date of its notification in the Gazette, revokes the Customs Import Prohibition Order 1946 (SR 1946/006).

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order, which comes into force on the 28th day after the date of its notification in the Gazette, revokes the order prohibiting the importation of lock-picking devices.
