Pursuant to the Criminal Justice Act 1954 and the Penal Institutions Act 1954, but so far only in the case of the last-mentioned Act as the authority of that Act is necessary for the declarations contained in clauses 3 and 5 of this notice, the Minister of Justice hereby gives the following notice.

Notice

This notice may be cited as the Work Centre and Penal Institutions Notice 1968.

The Work Centre Notice 1966 (SR 1966/136) is hereby revoked, and the land described in the Schedule to that notice, being the land described in Schedule 1 hereto, is hereby declared to be no longer a work centre or to bear the name of the Invercargill Work Centre.

The land described in Schedule 1 hereto is hereby declared to be included in both the borstal institution known as the Invercargill Borstal and the Prison known as the Invercargill Prison (SR 1958/198).

The land described in Schedule 2 hereto is hereby declared to be a work centre, to be known as the Invercargill Work Centre.

The land described in Schedule 2 hereto is hereby declared to be excluded from both the borstal institution known as the Invercargill Borstal and the prison known as the Invercargill Prison.

ALL that piece of land in the Southland Land District, containing 27.1 perches, more or less, being the area coloured blue on Survey Office Plan No 7566, and being part of Lot 2, Block VI, Deposited Plan No 299, and part Section 27, Block I, Invercargill Hundred, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 4, folio 245, Southland Registry.

ALL that piece of land in Spey Street, Invercargill, in the Southland Land District, containing 3 roods, 25.5 perches, more or less, forming section 30, Block XXI, Invercargill Hundred (Survey Office Plan No 7749), and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 114, folio 291, Southland Land Registry.
