Pursuant to the Criminal Justice Act 1954 and the Penal Institutions Act 1954, but so far only in the case of the last-mentioned Act as the authority of that Act is necessary for the declarations contained in, and the revocation effected by, clauses 3 and 4 of this notice, the Minister of Justice hereby gives the following notice.

1 Title

This notice may be cited as the Work Centre and Penal Institutions Notice 1969.

2 Land ceasing to comprise Invercargill Work Centre

Clauses 4 and 5 of the Work Centre and Penal Institutions Notice 1968 (SR 1968/10) and Schedule 2 to that notice are hereby revoked, and the land described in that Schedule, being the land described in Schedule 1, is hereby declared to be no longer a work centre or to bear the name of the Invercargill Work Centre.

3 Land added to Invercargill Borstal Institution and Invercargill Prison

Clauses 3 and 4, and Schedule 1, were revoked, as from 5 June 1998, by clause 3(d) Penal Institutions (Invercargill Prison) Notice 1998 (SR 1998/116).

4 Land excluded from Invercargill Borstal Institution

Clause 5 was revoked, as from 31 October 1975, by regulation 5(1) Work Centres Notice 1975 (SR 1975/254).
