Penal Institutions Notice (No 3) 1972: revoked, on 12 May 2011, by clause 3 of the Regulatory Reform (Revocations) Order 2011 (SR 2011/99).

Pursuant to the Penal Institutions Act 1954, the Minister of Justice hereby gives the following notice.
Notice
1 Title and commencement
-
(1) This notice may be cited as the Penal Institutions Notice (No 3) 1972.
(2) This notice shall take effect from 7 December 1972.
2 Whakatane police station ceasing to be a police jail
-
(1) That part of the Penal Institutions Notice (No 3) 1959 (SR 1959/209, amended SR 1965/166, amended SR 1969/224) which declares the police station at Whakatane to be a police jail is hereby revoked.
(2) Clause 4 of the Penal Institutions Notice (No 3) 1959 is hereby consequentially amended by omitting the words
“Wairoa, and Whakatane”
, and substituting the words“and Wairoa”
.
