  • Mining Act Commencement Order 1973: revoked, on 1 April 1993, pursuant to section 62(1) of the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992 (1992 No 96).

This order is administered in the Mines Department.

PURSUANT to the Mining Act 1971, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

  • This order may be cited as the Mining Act Commencement Order 1973.

2 Commencement of Mining Act

  • The Mining Act 1971 shall come into force on the 1st day of April 1973.
