1 Title

This order is the Road User Charges (RUC Collector) Order 2012.

2 Commencement

This order comes into force on 15 June 2012.

3 Interpretation

(1) In this order, Act means the Road User Charges Act 2012.

(2) Terms and expressions used and not defined in this order but defined in the Act have, in this order, the same meaning as in the Act.

4 Agency appointed RUC collector

The Agency is appointed as the RUC collector for the purposes of the Act.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order, which comes into force on 15 June 2012, appoints the New Zealand Transport Agency to be the RUC collector for the purposes of the Road User Charges Act 2012.
