Explanatory note

This note is not part of the notice, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This notice, which takes effect from 12 July 2012, is made under the Corrections Act 2004. As the cell blocks of the Auckland High Court, Auckland District Court, and Manukau District Court have been reassigned from Mount Eden Prison to Auckland Prison, this notice provides a new legal description of Mount Eden Prison that omits references to those cell blocks.
