The revocation arises out of the Search and Surveillance Act 2012, which will govern applications for search warrants under the Animal Welfare Act 1999 and also dispenses with the need for search warrants to be in a prescribed form.
Issued under the authority of the Acts and Regulations Publication Act 1989.
Date of notification in Gazette: 30 August 2012.
These regulations are administered by the Ministry for Primary Industries.
