These regulations are administered by the Ministry of Transport.
Pursuant to section 100 of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following regulations.
Regulations
1 Title
These regulations are the Civil Aviation (Offences) Amendment Regulations 2012.
2 Commencement
These regulations come into force on 5 April 2012.
3 Principal regulations
These regulations amend the Civil Aviation (Offences) Regulations 2006 (the principal regulations).
4 Schedule 1 amended
(1)
In Schedule 1, revoke the items relating to rules 121.157(c) and 121.167.
(2)
In Schedule 1, replace the items relating to rules 12.151, 101.269, 121.157(a) and (b), and 121.165(a) with the items set out in Part 1 of the Schedule of these regulations.
(3)
In Schedule 1, insert in their appropriate numerical order the items set out in Part 2 of the Schedule of these regulations.
(4)
In Schedule 1, insert in their appropriate numerical order the items set out in Part 3 of the Schedule of these regulations.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.
These regulations, which come into force on 5 April 2012, amend Schedule 1 of the Civil Aviation (Offences) Regulations 2006, which prescribe the breaches of the Civil Aviation Rules that are summary offences and the breaches of those rules that are infringement offences, and prescribe the fines and infringement fees in respect of those offences. The amendments—
replace the item relating to rule 12.151:
replace certain items and insert new items relating to Part 101 of the Civil Aviation Rules, which specifies offences and penalties relating to gyrogliders and parasails; and unmanned balloons, kites, rockets, and model aircraft—operating rules:
revoke certain items, replace certain items, and insert new items relating to Part 121 of the Civil Aviation Rules, which specifies offences and penalties relating to air operations—large aeroplanes:
insert new items relating to Part 115 of the Civil Aviation Rules, which specifies offences and penalties relating to adventure aviation initial issue—certification and operations.

1 General
This is a consolidation of the Civil Aviation (Offences) Amendment Regulations 2012 that incorporates the amendments made to the legislation so that it shows the law as at its stated date.
2 Legal status
A consolidation is taken to correctly state, as at its stated date, the law enacted or made by the legislation consolidated and by the amendments. This presumption applies unless the contrary is shown.
Section 78 of the Legislation Act 2019 provides that this consolidation, published as an electronic version, is an official version. A printed version of legislation that is produced directly from this official electronic version is also an official version.
