Pursuant to section 55A(5) of the Commerce Act 1986, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council and on the recommendation of the Minister of Commerce made in accordance with section 55A(6) of that Act, makes the following order.
Order
1 Title
This order is the Commerce (Part 4 Regulation—Gas Pipeline Services) Order 2013.
2 Commencement
This order comes into force on the 28th day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
3 Schedule 6 of Commerce Act 1986 amended
In the Commerce Act 1986, Schedule 6, after the item relating to TAG Oil (NZ) Limited, insert:
Cheal Petroleum Limited Cheal Gas Export Pipeline
Rebecca Kitteridge,
Clerk of the Executive Council.
Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order, which comes into force on the 28th day after the date of its notification in the Gazette, adds the Cheal Gas Export Pipeline to Schedule 6 of the Commerce Act 1986 (the Act).
The effect of adding this item is to exempt the pipeline from the requirements of information disclosure and price-quality regulation that apply in relation to gas pipeline services under subpart 10 of Part 4 of the Act.
Issued under the authority of the Acts and Regulations Publication Act 1989.
Date of notification in Gazette: 16 May 2013.
This order is administered by the Ministry of Business, Innovation, and Employment.
