Pursuant to section 2(2) of the Land Transport Amendment Act 2011, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.
Order
1 Title
This order is the Land Transport Amendment Act 2011 Commencement Order 2013.
2 Commencement of specified sections of Land Transport Amendment Act 2011
Sections 4, 5, 7, 10, 11(3) to (5), and 17 of the Land Transport Amendment Act 2011 come into force on 1 November 2013.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order brings specified sections of the Land Transport Amendment Act 2011 (the Act) into force on 1 November 2013. Those sections relate to driver licence stop orders (which are new traffic fine enforcement tools) and their use.
The rest of the Act is already in force.
Date of notification in Gazette: 3 October 2013.
This order is administered by the Ministry of Transport.
