These regulations, which come into force on 1 July 2025, amend the Sale and Supply of Alcohol (Fees) Regulations 2013 to increase—

• the fee payable for an appeal, under section 154 of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 (the Act), to the Alcohol Regulatory and Licensing Authority against a decision of a licensing committee:

• the fee payable for obtaining, under section 65(2) of the Act, an extract from a register recording prescribed particulars relating to licences and managers’ certificates.

The fees do not include goods and services tax. They are being increased by an inflation adjustment of 3.65%, which is based on a weighted average of the Labour Cost Index and the Producers Price Index. The new fees have been calculated so that, once goods and services tax is added to them, the fees are rounded to the nearest dollar.
