Local Government Elected Members (2013/14) (Certain Local Authorities) Determination 2013 Amendment Determination (No 2) 2014: revoked (with effect on 1 July 2014, after expiring on that date), on 25 July 2014, pursuant to clause 17 of the Local Government Elected Members (2014/15) (Certain Local Authorities) Determination 2014 (LI 2014/242).

Pursuant to clauses 6 and 7A of Schedule 7 of the Local Government Act 2002 and to the Remuneration Authority Act 1977, the Remuneration Authority makes the following determination (to which is appended an explanatory memorandum).

1 Title

This determination is the Local Government Elected Members (2013/14) (Certain Local Authorities) Determination 2013 Amendment Determination (No 2) 2014.

2 Commencement

(1) Clause 5(b), (e), (l), (u), and (v) is deemed to have come into force on 13 October 2013.

(2) Clause 5(s) and (t) is deemed to have come into force on 24 October 2013.

(3) Clause 5(h) to (j) is deemed to have come into force on 31 October 2013.

(4) Clause 4(d) to (i) is deemed to have come into force on 5 November 2013.

(5) Clause 5(y) is deemed to have come into force on 15 November 2013.

(6) Clause 5(r) is deemed to have come into force on 17 November 2013.

(7) Clause 5(c), (d), and (f) is deemed to have come into force on 28 November 2013.

(8) Clauses 4(j) to (l) and 5(m) to (q) are deemed to have come into force on 12 December 2013.

(9) Clause 5(w) and (x) is deemed to have come into force on 17 December 2013.

(10) Clause 5(a) and (k) is deemed to have come into force on 18 December 2013.

Explanatory memorandum

This memorandum is not part of the determination, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This determination amends the Local Government Elected Members (2013/14) (Certain Local Authorities) Determination 2013 issued in September 2013. The amendments are deemed to have come into force on a range of dates from 13 October 2013 to 12 February 2014 as specified in clause 2.

The reason for the amendments is a change in council structure, except in relation to the Mayors of the Far North District Council and the South Waikato District Council where the reason is a change in the mayoral vehicle.

Issued under the authority of the Legislation Act 2012.
