Pursuant to section 137 of the Biosecurity Act 1993, Her Excellency the Administrator of the Government makes the following order, acting—
(a)
on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council; and
(b)
on the recommendation of the Minister for Primary Industries made in accordance with section 139 of that Act.
Order
1 Title
This order is the Biosecurity (System Entry Levy) (Border Processing—Trade Single Window) Amendment Order 2014.
2 Commencement
This order comes into force on 24 June 2014.
Order: confirmed, on 12 December 2014, by section 7 of the Subordinate Legislation (Confirmation and Validation) Act 2014 (2014 No 70).
3 Principal order
This order amends the Biosecurity (System Entry Levy) Order 2010 (the principal order).
4 Clause 3 amended (Interpretation)
(1)
In clause 3(1), revoke the definition of Customs computerised entry processing system.
(2)
In clause 3(1), insert in its appropriate alphabetical order:
Joint Border Management System has the meaning given in section 131A of the Customs and Excise Act 1996
5 Clause 4 amended (Levy imposed)
In clause 4(1), replace “Customs computerised entry processing system”
with “Joint Border Management System”

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order, which comes into force on 24 June 2014, amends the Biosecurity (System Entry Levy) Order 2010 (the principal order).
This order replaces references in the principal order to the Customs computerised entry processing system with references to the Joint Border Management System as a consequence of changes made by the Customs and Excise (Border Processing—Trade Single Window and Duties) Amendment Act 2014.
This order is subject to confirmation under section 138 of the Biosecurity Act 1993. This means that the order will be deemed to have been revoked with the close of 30 June 2015 unless it has been confirmed by an Act of Parliament passed on or before that day.

1 General
This is a consolidation of the Biosecurity (System Entry Levy) (Border Processing—Trade Single Window) Amendment Order 2014 that incorporates the amendments made to the legislation so that it shows the law as at its stated date.
2 Legal status
A consolidation is taken to correctly state, as at its stated date, the law enacted or made by the legislation consolidated and by the amendments. This presumption applies unless the contrary is shown.
Section 78 of the Legislation Act 2019 provides that this consolidation, published as an electronic version, is an official version. A printed version of legislation that is produced directly from this official electronic version is also an official version.
