Pursuant to section 237 of the Employment Relations Act 2000, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following regulations.

1 Title
These regulations are the Employment Court Amendment Regulations 2014.
2 Commencement
These regulations come into force on 1 July 2014.
3 Principal regulations
These regulations amend the Employment Court Regulations 2000 (the principal regulations).
4 Regulation 32 amended (Translations into Maori)
In regulation 32, replace
“rules 65 to 68 of the District Courts Rules 1992”
with“rules 1.16 to 1.19 of the District Courts Rules 2014”
.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.
These regulations, which come into force on 1 July 2014, amend the Employment Court Regulations 2000 consequentially on the making of the District Courts Rules 2014.
Issued under the authority of the Legislation Act 2012.
Date of notification in Gazette: 29 May 2014.
These regulations are administered by the Ministry of Business, Innovation, and Employment.
