These regulations are administered by the Ministry of Business, Innovation, and Employment.
Pursuant to section 402(1) of the Building Act 2004, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council and on the recommendation of the Minister for Building and Construction, makes the following regulations.
Regulations
1 Title
These regulations are the Building (Dam Safety) Amendment Regulations 2014.
2 Commencement
These regulations come into force on 30 June 2014.
3 Principal regulations
These regulations amend the Building (Dam Safety) Regulations 2008 (the principal regulations).
4 Regulation 2 amended (Commencement)
In regulation 2, replace “1 July 2014”
with “1 July 2015”

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.
These regulations, which come into force on 30 June 2014, amend the Building (Dam Safety) Regulations 2008 to change the commencement date from 1 July 2014 to 1 July 2015.
