Pursuant to regulation 22(1)(c) of the Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Regulations 1999, the Director-General of the Ministry for Primary Industries gives the following notice.

1 Title
This notice is the Fisheries (Notification of Tāngata Tiaki/Kaitiaki for Mangamaunu and Te Waha o te Marangai Mātaitai) Notice 2014.
Clause 1: replaced, on 10 October 2018, by clause 5 of the Fisheries (Notification of Tāngata Tiaki/Kaitiaki for Mangamaunu and Te Waha o te Marangai Mātaitai) Amendment Notice 2018 (LI 2018/164).
2 Commencement
This notice comes into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
3 Interpretation
In this notice, unless the context otherwise requires,—
Mangamaunu Mātaitai means the area described in clause 1 of Schedule 4 of the Kaikōura (Te Tai o Marokura) Marine Management Act 2014
Te Waha o te Marangai Mātaitai means the area described in clause 3 of Schedule 4 of the Kaikōura (Te Tai o Marokura) Marine Management Act 2014.
Clause 3 Oaro Mātaitai: revoked, on 10 October 2018, by clause 6 of the Fisheries (Notification of Tāngata Tiaki/Kaitiaki for Mangamaunu and Te Waha o te Marangai Mātaitai) Amendment Notice 2018 (LI 2018/164).
4 Notification of appointment of Tāngata Tiaki/Kaitiaki

The Minister for Primary Industries has appointed the following Tāngata Tiaki/Kaitiaki for the Mangamaunu Mātaitai and Te Waha o te Marangai Mātaitai:
