1 Title

This notice is the Fisheries (Total Allowable Catch and Total Allowable Commercial Catch) Amendment Notice 2015.

2 Commencement

This notice comes into force on 31 March 2015.

3 Application

This notice applies on and from the first day of the fishing year starting on 1 April 2015.

4 Principal notice

This notice amends the Fisheries (Total Allowable Catch and Total Allowable Commercial Catch) Notice 2014 (the principal notice).

5 Schedule 1 amended

In Schedule 1, replace each item relating to a fishstock code specified in the second column of the Schedule of this notice with the corresponding item in the Schedule.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the notice, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This notice amends the Fisheries (Total Allowable Catch and Total Allowable Commercial Catch) Notice 2014. It comes into force on 31 March 2015, but applies on and from the first day of the fishing year starting on 1 April 2015.

The amendments set or vary the total allowable catch (TAC) and total allowable commercial catch (TACC) for quota management stocks with certain fishstock codes, as follows:

Rock lobster—spiny red
for CRA1, the TAC is set at 273.062 greenweight tonnes and the TACC is set at 131.062 greenweight tonnes:
for CRA7, the TAC is increased from 86.000 to 117.720 greenweight tonnes and the TACC is increased from 66.000 to 97.720 greenweight tonnes:
Southern blue whiting
for SBW6B, the TAC is reduced from 7 000 to 3 000 greenweight tonnes and the TACC is reduced from 6 860 to 2 940 greenweight tonnes.
