Pursuant to section 126A(3) of the Private Security Personnel and Private Investigators Act 2010, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.

1 Title
This order is the Private Security Personnel and Private Investigators (Specified Date) Order 2015.
2 Commencement
This order comes into force on 6 March 2015.
3 Specified date
For the purpose of section 126A of the Private Security Personnel and Private Investigators Act 2010, specified date means 6 June 2015.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order, which comes into force on 6 March 2015, provides that, for the purpose of section 126A of the Private Security Personnel and Private Investigators Act 2010 (the Act), the specified date is 6 June 2015.
The effect of this order is that, commencing on 6 June 2015,—
repossession agents will be required to hold a licence under the Act:
repossession employees will be required to hold a certificate of approval under the Act.
Issued under the authority of the Legislation Act 2012.
Date of notification in Gazette: 19 February 2015.
