Local Government Elected Members (2014/15) (Certain Local Authorities) Determination 2014 Amendment Determination 2015: revoked (with effect on 1 July 2015 and after expiring on that date), on 10 July 2015, pursuant to clause 17 of the Local Government Elected Members (2015/16) (Certain Local Authorities) Determination 2015 (LI 2015/174).

Pursuant to clauses 6 and 7A of Schedule 7 of the Local Government Act 2002, and to the Remuneration Authority Act 1977, the Remuneration Authority makes the following determination (to which is appended an explanatory memorandum).

Determination

1 Title

This determination is the Local Government Elected Members (2014/15) (Certain Local Authorities) Determination 2014 Amendment Determination 2015.

2 Commencement

(1)

Clause 4 is deemed to have come into force on 11 December 2014.

(2)

Clause 5(a) is deemed to have come into force on 1 July 2014.

(3)

Clause 5(b) is deemed to have come into force on 24 March 2015.

(4)

Clause 5(c) and (d) is deemed to have come into force on 23 March 2015.

Explanatory memorandum

This memorandum is not part of the determination, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This determination amends the Local Government Elected Members (2014/15) (Certain Local Authorities) Determination 2014 issued in July 2014. The amendments are deemed to have come into force on a range of dates from 1 July 2014 to 24 March 2015 as specified in clause 2.

The reasons for the amendments are as follows:
