Order

1 Title

This order is the Dairy Industry Restructuring (Subparts 5 and 5A of Part 2 of Act Disapplied to South Island) Order 2016.

2 Commencement

This order comes into force on 31 May 2018.

3 Disapplication of subparts 5 and 5A of Part 2 of Act

It is declared that subpart 5 (except sections 77A, 104, 105, 109A to 109N, and 115 to 146) and subpart 5A of Part 2 of the Dairy Industry Restructuring Act 2001 cease to apply to the South Island of New Zealand on 31 May 2018.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order is made under section 148 of the Dairy Industry Restructuring Act 2001 (the Act) and comes into force on 31 May 2018. On that date, the provisions of the Act referred to in clause 3 of the order cease to apply to the South Island. (Sections 110 to 114, which are referred to in section 148(4)(a) of the Act, are not included in the provisions referred to in clause 3 as they have been repealed.)
