These regulations are made under section 163 of the Climate Change Response Act 2002—
(a)
on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council; and
(b)
on the recommendation of the Minister for Climate Change Issues made after complying with sections 3A(g), 163(5), and 166(1) of that Act.
Regulations
1 Title
These regulations are the Climate Change (Stationary Energy and Industrial Processes) Amendment Regulations 2016.
2 Commencement
These regulations come into force on 1 January 2017.
3 Principal regulations
These regulations amend the Climate Change (Stationary Energy and Industrial Processes) Regulations 2009 (the principal regulations).
4 Schedule 2 amended
In Schedule 2, replace table 10 with:

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.
These regulations amend the Climate Change (Stationary Energy and Industrial Processes) Regulations 2009. The amendment comes into force on 1 January 2017.
The amendment replaces table 10 in Schedule 2 to update the emissions factor for natural gas from each of the following fields: Kapuni LTS, Kupe, McKee, Mangahewa, Maui, and Pohokura. The national average emissions factor is also updated.
