1 Title

This notice is the Fisheries (High Seas Fishing Notifications—Commission for the Conservation of Southern Bluefin Tuna) Amendment Notice 2016.

2 Commencement

This notice comes into force on 1 December 2016.

3 Principal notice

This notice amends the Fisheries (High Seas Fishing Notifications—Commission for the Conservation of Southern Bluefin Tuna) Notice 2009 (the principal notice).

4 Schedule amended

(1)

In the Schedule, paragraph (p), after “in 2014”, insert “and CCSBT 23 in 2016”.

In the Schedule, after paragraph (q), insert:

Resolution on Large-scale Driftnet Fishing (adopted at CCSBT 23 in 2016).

This notice, which comes into force on 1 December 2016, amends the Fisheries (High Seas Fishing Notifications—Commission for the Conservation of Southern Bluefin Tuna) Notice 2009. The amendments update the list of international conservation and management measures that have been adopted by the Commission for the Conservation of Southern Bluefin Tuna.
