This notice is made under the Fisheries (Kaimoana Customary Fishing) Regulations 1998 and comes into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.

The Tāngata Tiaki/Kaitiaki for a customary food gathering area/rohe moana may authorise any individual to take fish, aquatic life, or seaweed for customary food gathering purposes from within the area/rohe moana.

This notice relates to a customary food gathering area/rohe moana of tangata whenua represented by Ngāti Kuta-Patukeha. The area/rohe moana is an area from Haumi River to Taupiri Bay.

Notice is given of the appointment of Robert Clarke as an additional Tangata Tiaki/Kaitiaki with effect from 27 February 2016. The Minister for Primary Industries made the appointment at the request of Te Hapū O Patukeha.
