Local Government Elected Members (2016/17) (Certain Local Authorities) Determination 2016 Amendment Determination (No 2) 2017: revoked (with effect on 1 July 2017, after expiring on the close of 30 June 2017), on 27 July 2017, pursuant to clause 15(b) of the Local Government Members (2017/18) (Local Authorities) Determination 2017 (LI 2017/167).

Determination

1 Title

This determination is the Local Government Elected Members (2016/17) (Certain Local Authorities) Determination 2016 Amendment Determination (No 2) 2017.

2 Commencement

(1)

Clause 4 is deemed to have come into force on 5 April 2017.

(2)

Clause 5(1) is deemed to have come into force on 1 February 2017.

(3)

Clause 5(2) is deemed to have come into force on 21 March 2017.

(4)

Clause 5(3) is deemed to have come into force on 14 March 2017.

(5)

Clause 5(4) is deemed to have come into force on 4 April 2017.

The rest of this determination comes into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.

Explanatory memorandum

This memorandum is not part of the determination, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This determination amends the Local Government Elected Members (2016/17) (Certain Local Authorities) Determination 2016, which came into force on 1 July 2016.

All amendments are made at the request of the councils concerned.

The amendments come into effect on the dates specified in clause 2.
