Local Government Members (2018/19) (Local Authorities) Amendment Determination 2019: revoked (after expiring on the close of 30 June 2019), on 1 July 2019, pursuant to clause 16 of the Local Government Members (2019/20) Determination 2019 (LI 2019/135).

Pursuant to the Remuneration Authority Act 1977 and to clauses 6 and 7A(1) and (5) of Schedule 7 of the Local Government Act 2002, the Remuneration Authority, after having regard to the matters specified in clause 7 of that schedule, makes the following determination (to which is appended an explanatory memorandum).

Determination

1 Title

This determination is the Local Government Members (2018/19) (Local Authorities) Amendment Determination 2019.

2 Commencement

(1)

Clause 4(1), (3), (4), and (5) is deemed to have come into force on 1 July 2018.

(2)

Clause 4(2) is deemed to have come into force on 11 December 2018.

(3)

Clause 4(6) is deemed to have come into force on 6 March 2019.

(4)

The rest of this determination comes into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.

This determination amends the Local Government Members (2018/19) (Local Authorities) Determination 2018 (the principal determination).

Explanatory memorandum

This memorandum is not part of the determination, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This determination amends the Local Government Members (2018/19) (Local Authorities) Determination 2018 (the principal determination). All amendments to Part 2 of the Schedule of the principal determination are made at the request of the councils concerned.

The amendments come into effect on the dates specified in clause 2.
