This order is made under section 4B of the Minimum Wage Act 1983 on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council and on the recommendation of the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety made after complying with section 5(2) of that Act.
Order
1 Title
This order is the Minimum Wage Amendment Order 2019.
2 Commencement
This order comes into force on 21 June 2019.
3 Principal order
This order amends the Minimum Wage Order 2019 (the principal order).
4 Clause 6 amended (Minimum training rates)
In clause 6(c)(i), replace “$556.40”
with “$566.40”
.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order, which comes into force on 21 June 2019, amends the Minimum Wage Order 2019 to correct an error in the minimum rate payable to a trainee when expressed as a figure to be paid by the week.
