These regulations are made under section 447 of the Oranga Tamariki Act 1989 on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council.
Regulations
1 Title
These regulations are the Oranga Tamariki (National Care Standards and Related Matters) (Family Violence) Amendment Regulations 2019.
2 Commencement
These regulations come into force on 1 July 2019.
3 Principal regulations
These regulations amend the Oranga Tamariki (National Care Standards and Related Matters) Regulations 2018 (the principal regulations).
4 Regulation 25 amended (Relationship between plan and other documents)
In regulation 25(1)(b), replace “Domestic Violence Act 1995”
with “Family Violence Act 2018”

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.
These regulations, which come into force on 1 July 2019, amend the Oranga Tamariki (National Care Standards and Related Matters) Regulations 2018 (the principal regulations). The amendments align the principal regulations with the Family Violence Act 2018, which also comes into force on 1 July 2019.
Date of notification in Gazette: 16 May 2019.
