This order is the Biosecurity (Border Processing Levy) Amendment Order 2021.

This order comes into force on 16 April 2021.

This order amends the Biosecurity (Border Processing Levy) Order 2015 (the principal order).

In clause 3, revoke the definition of initial levy period.

In clause 3, definition of levy, replace “4” with “4A”.

In clause 3, definition of levy period, replace paragraph (a) with:

In clause 3, definition of non-levy funded exempt traveller, replace “paragraphs (e) to (i)” with “paragraphs (e) to (g)”.

In clause 3, insert in its appropriate alphabetical order:

After clause 4, insert:

Revoke clause 4 and the cross-heading above clause 4.

Replace the cross-heading above clause 5 with:

In the heading to clause 5, replace “for later levy periods” with “for periods other than special levy period”.

In clause 5(1), replace “after the initial levy period” with “other than the special levy period”.

In clause 8(1), replace “after the initial levy period” with “other than the special levy period”.

Revoke clause 9(1)(h) and (i).

Revoke clause 15.

Revoke clause 16.

Revoke clause 17(1)(c).

Revoke clause 18(1)(d).

In clause 18(2), replace “after the initial levy period” with “other than the special levy period”.
