Local Government Members (2022/23) Amendment Determination (No 3) 2023: revoked, on 1 July 2023, pursuant to clause 16 of the Local Government Members (2023/24) Determination 2023 (SL 2023/142).

This determination (to which is appended an explanatory memorandum) is made by the Remuneration Authority under the Remuneration Authority Act 1977 and clause 6 of Schedule 7 of the Local Government Act 2002, after having regard to the matters specified in clause 7 of that schedule.

1 Title
This determination is the Local Government Members (2022/23) Amendment Determination (No 3) 2023.
2 Commencement
This determination is deemed to have come into force on 30 March 2023.
3 Principal determination
This determination amends the Local Government Members (2022/23) Determination 2022.
4 Schedule 2 amended
In Schedule 2, Part 2, replace the item relating to Buller District Council with:

Explanatory memorandum
This memorandum is not part of the determination, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This determination, which is deemed to have come into force on 30 March 2023, amends the Local Government Members (2022/23) Determination 2022.
This determination amends the item relating to Buller District Council in Part 2 of Schedule 2 by—
updating the annual remuneration amounts and applicable dates for 5 existing offices; and
inserting the office of Councillor Who is Chairperson of the Inangahua Community Board.
These amendments result from the appointment of a Buller District Council councillor to the office of Chairperson of the Inangahua Community Board.
Issued under the authority of the Legislation Act 2019.
