This notice is made by the Minister of Police under section 71G of the Land Transport Act 1998 after complying with the requirements of that section.

1 Title
This notice is the Land Transport (Approved Oral Fluid Screening Device) Notice 2025.
2 Commencement
This notice comes into force on 15 December 2025.
3 Approved oral fluid screening device
The Securetec DrugWipe® 3 S code S304G.91 is approved for use as an oral fluid screening device for the purposes of the Land Transport Act 1998.
4 Specified qualifying drugs in respect of which approved oral fluid screening device can be used
The Securetec DrugWipe® 3 S code S304G.91 is approved for the purpose of screening oral fluid for the presence of the qualifying drugs specified in the first column of the table in the Schedule.
5 Positive screening threshold for specified qualifying drugs
The concentration levels at or above which oral fluid screened using the Securetec DrugWipe® 3 S code S304G.91 will appear positive for the presence of the qualifying drugs specified in the first column of the table in the Schedule are set out in the second column of that table.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the notice but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This notice, which comes into force on 15 December 2025, provides that the Securetec DrugWipe® 3 S code S304G.91 is an approved oral fluid screening device for the purposes of the Land Transport Act 1998. This notice—
provides that this device may be used to screen oral fluid samples for the presence of cocaine, MDMA, methamphetamine, and THC; and
specifies the concentration levels at or above which an oral fluid sample screened using this device will show a positive result for those drugs.
