This order is made under clause 20(1) of Schedule 3 of the Customs and Excise Act 2018 on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council.

1 Title
This order is the Excise and Excise-Equivalent Duties (Flavour Bases) Modification Order Revocation Order 2026.
2 Commencement
This order comes into force on 10 September 2026.
3 Revocation of Excise and Excise-Equivalent Duties (Flavour Bases) Modification Order 2000
The Excise and Excise-Equivalent Duties (Flavour Bases) Modification Order 2000 (SR 2000/198) is revoked.
4 Revocation of this order
This order is revoked at the close of 1 January 2028.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order, which comes into force on 10 September 2026, revokes the Excise and Excise-Equivalent Duties (Flavour Bases) Modification Order 2000 (the 2000 order). The 2000 order is no longer required as the modifications it made were included in the Excise and Excise-equivalent Duties Table Order 2018.
This order must be confirmed by an Act before the close of 31 December 2027. If it is not confirmed, it will be revoked at the close of that date. See subpart 3 of Part 5 of the Legislation Act 2019.
Date of notification in Gazette: 13 August 2026.
