This notice is made by the Minister for Oceans and Fisheries under sections 13 and 20 of the Fisheries Act 1996 after complying with sections 11, 12, 13, and 21 of that Act.

This notice is the Fisheries (Total Allowable Catch, Total Allowable Commercial Catch, and Deemed Value Rates) Amendment Notice 2026.
2 Commencement
This notice comes into force on 31 March 2026.
3 Application
This notice applies on and from the first day of the fishing year starting on 1 April 2026.

This note is not part of the notice but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This notice amends the Fisheries (Total Allowable Catch, Total Allowable Commercial Catch, and Deemed Value Rates) Notice 2015 (the principal notice).
The amendments come into force on 31 March 2026 but apply on and from the first day of the fishing year starting on 1 April 2026.
This notice amends Schedule 1 of the principal notice to make changes to the total allowable catch and total allowable commercial catch for spiny (red) rock lobster stocks (CRA3 and CRA7).
Date of notification in Gazette: 27 March 2026.
