Proposed amendments
Hon Dr Deborah Russell, in Committee, to move the following amendments:
Schedule 1 amended
In schedule 1, clause 2, item Vertical equity (page 6), replace “middle New Zealanders”
with “middle-income New Zealanders”
.
In schedule 1, clause 2, item Revenue integrity (page 6), replace “coherent and sustainable”
with “sustainable”
.
In schedule 1, clause 2, item Certainty and predictability (page 7), replace “transparent”
with “coherent and transparent”
.
Explanatory note
This Supplementary Order Paper makes minor changes to wording, to correct faults of expression.
Departmental disclosure statement
The Inland Revenue Department considers that a departmental disclosure statement is not required to be prepared for this Supplementary Order Paper.
