Proposed amendment

Karen Chhour, in Committee, to move the following amendment:

Clause 11

In clause 11(1)(a)(iv), after “people” (page 9, line 12), insert “and females”.

Explanatory note

This Supplementary Order Paper amends the Integrity Sport and Recreation Bill. Women and girls have historically been greatly affected by issues of discrimination in sport and active recreation, and women’s sport faces particular challenges. Ensuring that there is at least one board member who has experience of women’s sport is important for the credibility of the Commission.
