Acts are laws made by Parliament
(1) Every tenancy agreement shall be in writing and signed by both the landlord and the tenant.
(2) The landlord shall, before the tenancy commences, provide the tenant with a copy of the tenancy agreement.
Section 13 was substituted, as from 1 December 1996, by section 6(1) Residential Tenancies Amendment Act 1996 See section 6(2) and (3) Residential Tenancies Amendment Act 1996 (1996 No 7). as to the transitional provisions.
