Immigration Advisers Complaints and Disciplinary Tribunal

40 Immigration Advisers Complaints and Disciplinary Tribunal established

(1)

This section establishes a body to be known as the Immigration Advisers Complaints and Disciplinary Tribunal.

(2)

The Tribunal consists of—

(a)

a person to act as chair of the Tribunal, appointed by the Governor-General on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice acting in consultation with the Minister; and

(b)

such number of other members as the Governor-General appoints on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice acting in consultation with the Minister.

(3)

For the purposes of any matter within its jurisdiction, the Tribunal consists of 1 member of the Tribunal.
