This order is made under section 2(2) of the Crimes Amendment Act 2005 on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council.

1 Title
This order is the Crimes Amendment Act 2005 Commencement Order 2017.
2 Commencement of certain provisions of Schedule 1 of the Crimes Amendment Act 2005
The provisions of Schedule 1 of the Crimes Amendment Act 2005 that relate to the Extradition Act 1999 and the Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters Act 1992 come into force on 1 June 2017.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order brings into force, on 1 June 2017, the provisions of Schedule 1 of the Crimes Amendment Act 2005 that relate to the Extradition Act 1999 and the Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters Act 1992.
Issued under the authority of the Legislation Act 2012.
