Real Estate Agents Amendment Act 2005: repealed, on 16 November 2009, pursuant to section 157 of the Real Estate Agents Act 2008 (2008 No 66).

The Parliament of New Zealand enacts as follows:
1 Title
(1)
This Act is the Real Estate Agents Amendment Act 2005.
(2)
In this Act, the Real Estate Agents Act 1976 is called “the principal Act”
.
2 Commencement
This Act comes into force on 26 April 2005.
3 Application

Subsection (1) applies whether the agreement is conditional or unconditional, and regardless of the date on which, according to the agreement, the purchaser or lessor is to take possession of the land or business.
4 Purchase or lease by agent voidable
5 Claims against Fund
Section 82(6) of the principal Act is amended by inserting, after the word “spouse”
, the words “, civil union partner, or de facto partner”
.
